Our romantic Boutique hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the oldest city in Las Americas, Colonial Zone. We are within a short walking distance of all the historical monuments, restaurants, bars, shopping and fun in Zona Colonial. Being a Boutique Hotel means we will cater to all our guests' demands and wishes. The owner-manager Enrique Zapata is always on hand to help, share information or to just hangout and chat.

The 50 room hotel is a rich, eclectic mix of old and new. The building was a hotel from 1930 to 1965. It was then completely remodeled in 2004. Now in 2009 when we took over the hotel we have been working to change the image to make it more comfortable and inviting. Even with these newly added improvements we have preserved the old world charm that one would hope for being in this the oldest city in all the Americas. We have preserved the old architecture including the original floor tiles from the 1930's while having added the convenience of the new including an elevator and air-conditioning. When you enter our front door you will feel the worries of the outside world drain away. Our lobby, with its low relaxing and subtle lighting, has a large open seating and reception area.

Europa Hotel Boutique has a friendly, helpful staff speaking English, Spanish and French. They will do everything possible to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. Helping wherever they are able. If it is giving tourist information, finding you a taxi, or giving you that extra pillow or towel you need. They want to make you, their guest, feel happy, comfortable and right at home.

Our lobby has a small bar where you, our guest, can relax and enjoy a cold beer, wine or some of the local beverages. Our bar is open 24 hours for our guests if you want to drink until the sun comes up. We serve our beverages at very reasonable prices. A Presidente, the local Dominican beer, costs only $70 pesos!

From our roof top terrace lounge area you can get a unique view of the Ruins of San Francisco and see a panoramic, aerial view of the colonial city. This is a great place to host a private party, wedding, meeting or any group gathering for 12 to 100 seated guests. We also serve our daily breakfast buffet, included with a room rental, here on the terrace. Sit on the terrace in the evening and watch the sunset with a cold beverage (use the service phone to call down for your beverage delivered to you so you do not even need to move from you relaxed position) or watch the lights of the city from above. It can be quite romantic with an open, unobstructed view of the stars.

There are three different style rooms from which to choose. We have Standard, Superior and Junior Suite rooms. Most have a balcony with colonial style iron railing. The price of the rooms start at $65 USD + tax.
