Hotel Monumental is located in the heart of the Colonial Zone, the oldest city in all the Americas. We are a great place to stay while you are visiting the oldest city in the Americas here in Dominican Republic. We opened our doors in 2008 making us one of the newer hotels in the area. We offer very reasonable rental prices starting at $40 US Dollars a day with special rates for long term stays.

Our hotel is strategically located on Calle el Conde which is a pedestrian only street cutting through the center of the Colonial Zone. All you need is right outside our doors. Restaurants, Bars, Shopping, and all the Historical Monuments dating back to the 1500's when Christopher Columbus discovered our island. We are located in the Cultural District in Santo Domingo, the capital of Dominican Republic.

There is a nice second floor balcony where you can sit and enjoy watching the people passing by in the street below. There is always something interesting happening on Conde street.

We are only 20 minutes from Las Americas International Airport. Boca Chica Beach is only 25 minutes away. The Malecon, which is the road running along the Caribbean Sea, is only a 5 minute walk away. The historical monuments are only minutes away from our front door.
