Tour at your own pace, in your own time. Take your time as you walk the Colonial Zone. You do not have to tour in a hurried fashion. You can take up to 6 hours and really enjoy learning the rich history of this city of firsts.
We supply the rental service of our Audio Guide Equipment to the visitor with more than 25 historical points located in the Colonial Zone (Zona Colonial) of Santo Domingo. Our equipment is high end MP3 players that are easy to use and have insurmountable quality in stereo sound. The headphones come with disposable foam covers for individual and hygienic use. The MP3 player is about the size of a cellular telephone and easily fits into your hand or pocket. The recorded tour includes narrative descriptions of the sites, museums, streets, churches, and monuments. The recording has special effects and dramatizations and is very entertaining as well as informative.
We offer our service in three different languages: Spanish, English, and French. Included with the rental is an informative and detailed booklet with a map, photos, and the suggested routes and an extra set of headphones if you need them. You can also get a free non-alcoholic beverage at Hard Rock Cafe.
The advantage of using our equipment is that you are your own guide. You chose what you would like to do instead of being rushed by a local tour guide. You, the user, have the freedom to make your own route at your own pace using our easy to follow map included in the price of the rental. You can see the monuments and sights that interest you. With the MP3 player as your guide you have the freedom to stop where and when you chose. If you want to take a rest or enjoy a meal or snack just pause the player and relax. You will not miss a thing.
