Dominican Republic is one of the best golf destinations in the Caribbean.There are over 20 golf courses, nine championship golf courses, and several others under construction. Many have a beautiful ocean and mountain view at the same time. You can't find this just anywhere. The country promotes itself as a major international golf destination. Some of the best courses can be found at Casa de Campo, Dientes de Perro (Teeth of the Dog), Gran Diablo Links, Playa Dorada (which was designed by Robert Trent Jones), La Romana Country Club, and Santo Domingo Country Club.

This 18 hole par 72 golf course was opened in 1989. It is located in the center of some beautiful terrain amongst green hills and several small lakes.
