Pat´e Palo European Brasserie
This restaurant is located where the very first tavern in the Americas once existed. This restaurant-café is named after and decorated for the famous pirate Pat´e Palo. He was known for loving good food and good women, his two great passions. They have casual dining in the bar area, dining room or on the patio served by pirate-dressed waiters. This is a very popular restaurant so if you want to be guaranteed a table make a reservation.

Peking Express
A nice little fast food Dominican style Chinese Restaurant. They have daily specials in a small buffet serving Dominican food and their prices are very reasonable. The egg rolls are very good but do not expect authentic Chinese cooking. This type of restaurant is always known for its Pica Pollo, really crispy fried chicken. They have an ala carte menu and also all can be taken out.

Petrus Cafetería
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks a Dominican Fast-Food Restaurant. They have daily lunch specials set up at the entrance to the restaurant. They have table service and a section with air conditioning.

A chain Dominican style Pizzeria serving pizzas and pastas since 1982. Try some pizza with some corn if you have never had it before. Buy pizza by the slice or an entire pizza. They serve the typical pizza shop dishes; Stromboli, Calzone and Lasagna plus they have an ice cream bar with many different toppings. You can sit inside the restaurant or directly on the Conde at Parque Colon and people watch.

Fast food Chicken Restaurant. They have everything Chicken with Wraps, Salads, Roasted and fried Chicken and more with Dominican flavor. They have a child's menu and daily Combo Specials. They have many locations throughout the country. Eat in, take out and also delivery is usually available. The location on Calle el Conde does offer delivery and has WiFi.

Pura Tasca
A Tapa restaurant serving Spanish and Basque style tapas and dinners. Inside is a cozy tavern and watch a sports game or you can choose to sit outside with a view of the Plaza. Proud Mary
Maria, the owner of this bar, has made it a great place to hang out and have a good time. The pub has a home like feeling where you feel welcome and comfortable. She plays a lot of classic rock and blues. All ages can be seen here mainly because of the music being played. The music is not played loud which makes for a great place to talk and relax with friends while sipping on some of her famous Sangria. This bar is the second oldest bar in Colonial Zone.

Rita's Café
This restaurant, serving typical Dominican and International foods, is located in the Atarazana with a great view of the plaza. They serve a variety of different foods with a very reasonable price in a charming atmosphere. You can get a good lunch with their special that is served from 12noon until 2PM. The patio is very nice to hang out and relax and people watch while dining or having a drink. Stop by for your morning meal or a cup of coffee and have a nice conversation with the owner.

La Quinta is a mix of spacious privacy, good music and pleasing food for the palate. In the early evening the space is quiet and intimate serving Spanish type dishes and snacks. Late night the atmosphere changes to an environment for people to come and enjoy. They have drink specials, Happy Hours and sometimes live bands. Their house special drink is the Blue Quintana.
