Real Life and Times in the Dominican Republic
I'm Janette, The major writer and gather of information here. I lived in Dominican Republic for a little over 3 years, the Santo Domingo area and Colonial Zone. I had to return to USA to resolve a few problems. I started this web site while I was stuck in USA to keep myself from being depressed and to keep my mind occupied. I had no idea how to build a web site so it is not professional. I never thought it would ever grow into what it is today. I just wanted to share what I love about the Dominican Republic with others. what I write comes from my experience and my heart.
Now I am living again in the Zona Colonial and hope to stay here forever. I am always finding new information to ad to my web site and try to keep it fresh and updated as I can.
