This is a collection of messages people sent me after I gave them my own special tour. You tell me what you want to see. What you want to do. What help you need. what you want to spend on a hotel. Whatever you need, if I cannot help will do my best to find the person that can help. I just love sharing information about Dominican Republic, this country that I have come to love and now call my home.

"If it's culture and that your interested in then Janette should be your only choice. With Janette as my guide, I was immersed knee deep into the native habits, sites, language, and places of fun, sleep and work. The Colonial Zone, Janette's specialty, has a fascinating history especially to those with some European decent. To tell you about it is one thing. To experience it will allow you to absorb Dominican culture in a way that reading or visiting the vacation spots just cannot give proper justice to. You will walk away with a whole new reality. In fact I suggest extreme caution as it may cause you to not walk away but to just stay. I learned to speak one Spanish word while there.. You see only have to learn one word.. When you get there, just say "Presidente" and everything will be just fine. "Presidente" is the most popular beer, so I hear.. LOL. Janette's pricing is based on your budget and you can't ask for more than that. Have fun !"

"I went on tour with the Gringa & was very impressed with the history of the Colonial Zone. If any of you want to go on a nice, nice vacation & tour, go on the web site & make arrangements with Janette for a tour of Santo Domingo, you will never regret it." Carole
If your planning a vacation to the D.R. and are going to free lance it. We rented a car and went on a 4 day whirlwind tour of the S.W. region of the DR. It was extremely helpful, Janette being there, pointing out this and that and explaining. We had a great time up towards the larimer mines, and on down to San Rafael, then across to Neiba. The corramandos , coranados, commandantes, or whatever you call them (Colmados) are the bomb for icy cold beers. The only way you might go wrong is if you do not like to have fun. Janette is the most accommodating, best tour guide your likely to find. We wrapped up our visit with a walking tour of the Colonial Zone. It was a full action packed four days. I think I need another grande Presidente! Thanks again Janette.
