Live Traffic Cameras / Cámaras en vivo del tráfico
Would you like to watch the traffic pass by? Check out the way Dominicans drive? (by the way..I have a story about the in my blog called Dominican Drivers. Read it while you watch a traffic cam for a good laugh). Make sure the route you want to take looks good before you dive into the Santo Domingo traffic? These cameras are set up in many of the main intersections in Santo Domingo. It is interesting to watch all the action around the streets. The window washers, vendors, people getting in and out of the Public cars, motor bikes weaving in and out of traffic and so much more that in and around the Dominican Republic calles. Live traffic cams in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Live Cameras / Cámaras en vivo
Would you like to see life in Dominican Republic even if you are not there? Be a voyeur. Watch a web cam and pretend you are right there in the midst of wherever the camera takes you.

There are not many web cams in Dominican Republic but the number is growing. As I find the cam I will post it here. If anyone knows of a cam please let me know and I'll post it. I want to let the world see our world here in República Dominicana even if they can't be here in person.

This is the Colonial Zone web cam. Located on the corner of Calle Isabel la Católica and Padre Billini in the Zona Colonial. The camera only is on when the computer is turned on so it will be at different intervals and times. You can also go to www.bambuser.com/channel/rdgringa and watch the back logged videos in the collection of the drgringa. I will move the camera to get different views as needed. Come stand on the corner and wave to your friends when you are on vacation. Watch the chocho pass by or maybe a horse cart. Way in the distance you can see the Caribbean Sea and the port with the ships coming and going if I have the camera pointed in that direction.

If the camera is not streaming live you can still watch the older recordings by clicking "archive". There are many from Colonial Zone to watch. Also you can control the volume by clicking on the speaker icon. Thanks for watching!
